Turn off the gas supply and disconnect the appliance from power before beginning.
Allow the appliance to cool completely.
Unscrew the thermocouple connection from the gas valve.
Remove the probe end from the pilot bracket.
Install the new thermocouple by positioning the probe correctly in the pilot flame path.
Tighten the connection to the gas valve firmly but do not overtighten.
Restore gas supply and test pilot operation.
Installation should be carried out by a licensed gas technician in accordance with local regulations.
